Sundays 7:30 am Channel 27 WKYT
It is requested that all children under the age of five stay in our nursery
so there will be no distractions during the preaching of the Gospel.

HYMN OF THE DAY
With harps and with vials there stands a great throng
In the presence of Jesus and sings this new song
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin
To Him be the glory forever, Amen.

All these once were sinners, defiled in His sight
Now arrayed in pure garments, their voices unite
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin
To Him be the glory forever, amen.

He maketh the rebel a priest and a king
He hath brought us and taught us this new song to sing
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin
To Him be the glory forever, Amen.

Aloud in His praises our voices shall ring
So that others, believing, this new song shall sing
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin
To Him be the glory forever, Amen.

(Tune: “How Firm a Foundation” p. 268)

“A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.” - Proverbs 18:7

THREE THINGS REGARDING GOD’S GRACE
1. Grace is always sovereign. “Therefore, hath He mercy on whom He will have mercy, and whom He will He hardeneth.” (Romans 9:18)
2. God’s grace is always free. “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:24)
3. God’s grace is always saving. “By grace are ye saved.” (Eph. 2:8)
God’s grace is not an offer up for man’s acceptance or rejection. His grace sovereignly, freely saves! We cannot believe grace without believing these three things regarding grace.

Our message, method, and motive are of critical importance. To have one is to have them all, and to not be right in one is to not be right in them all.

“Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors”
Our Lord connects the forgiveness of our sins with our willingness to forgive others! He has allowed us to cut out the measure of pardon that we wish to receive based our willingness to forgive others! God will pardon us in proportion as we are prepared to pardon! If we pardon slowly, this will be our lot. If we pardon not at all, this, too, will be our lot! With this in mind remember the words of our Lord in Mark 11:25 – “When you stand praying, forgive, if you have ought against any: that your Father also which is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” - Copied

In all spiritual things all your temptations, all your darkness, all your wanderings God will overrule. It shall be well with you. There shall never be a night, but that morning shall come; there shall never be a day of trouble, but a day of prosperity shall follow; there shall never be an emptying, but there shall be a filling; there shall never be a bringing down, but that He will raise you up again. Let it be either darkness or light, sorrow or grief, night or day, life or death, time or eternity, “It shall be well with the righteous.”
- Scott Richardson

DO NOT JUDGE TOO HARD
Pray do not find fault with the man who limps
Or stumbles along the road
Unless you have worn the shoes he wears
Or struggled beneath his load.
There may be tacks in his shoes that hurt,
Though hidden away from view,
Or the burden he bears, placed on your back,
Might cause you to stumble too.

Don’t sneer at the man who is down today,
Unless you have felt the blow
That caused his fall, or felt the shame
That only the fallen know.
You may be strong, but still the blows
That were his, if dealt to you
In the self-same way at the self-same time
Might cause you to stumble too.

Don’t be too harsh with the man who sins
Or pelt him with words or stones,
Unless you are sure, yea doubly sure,
That you have no sins of your own.
For you know, perhaps if the tempter’s voice
Should whisper as soft to you
As it did to him when he went astray
‘Twould cause you to falter too.

An egotist talks about himself and loves to hear others talk about himself. A gossip talks about others and loves to hear other gossips talk about others. A true believer talks about Christ and Him crucified and loves for others to talk about Christ and Him crucified. - Copied
